What is it?

At it's core UFL is a simple but flexible system for handling turn-based combat for your roleplaying games. Inspired by DnD, Divinity, Rendezvous Fight and similar systems.

But on top of it, it could be considered a text based MMO game focused on fighting, martial arts, cyberfighting and combat roleplay with underground fight club network flavor.

Do I have to sign up?

Yes, but it's just a matter of entering your username\character and password. No emails. It's needed only to secure your fights and to keep track of your progress. New accounts start with limited social features — play a few matches to become verified and unlock full access.
