Citra, the Glittering Protector

Personality:

Though her name implies otherwise, Lime is FAR from a sour person. She’s quite the bubbly and playful character, and can also be quite the party-animal if allowed to let herself loose. She’s also got a habit of fawning over shiny objects, and can almost never be trusted with protecting your lunch without eating it herself.

That being said though, despite her bubbly and otherwise harmless demeanor when out and about outside of her duties as a Glittering Guardian, when evil rears its head and innocent people are in danger, she’s usually the first to answer their calls for help as the Lime-Green protector: CITRA.

Though she’s got enough power and skill to hold her own on most encounters, she’s also level-headed enough to know how to pick her battles, and when to choose a stealthy rescue over an all-out brawl. That being said though, when she DOES get into a brawl, you can expect her opponents to receive all the sass and snark she keeps to herself when not on the job~... as well as having all any shiny objects that weren’t bolted welded into the floor missing by the tame you come back to your senses.

As Citra, Lime has access to super-human speed and agility, as well as the ability to produce non-lethal amounts of electricity from anywhere on her body, which not only helps her stun bad-guys for a short while, but also comes in handy when dealing with any bug trying to sting her while she’s patrolling, since when using this ability she quite literally becomes a human-sized bug-zapper.

Bio:

Long ago, a conflict between two powerful intergalactic forces changed the world as they knew it. This long and brutal clash between forces led to four important events: The Big Bang, the creation of Rebel-Crystals, the founding of the Glittering Guardians Organization, and the birth of creatures called “Wraiths”; beings of darkness whose only purpose is to bring misery and hatred to every corner of the galaxy.
Though we’re getting off track here- To summarize the rest, Rebel-Crystals are scattered all over the universe, and give their chosen creature a unique set of abilities not commonly found amongst their kind. When someone stumbles upon one of these crystals, they are recruited by the Glittering Guardians to keep their planet and others nearby safe from the Wraiths, and each solar system is usually assigned at least 4 glittering guardians to protect it.

Lime, who was a college freshman at the time, unknowingly stumbled onto one of these crystals at a local park while trying to save a friend from a robber, transforming into Citra for the first time, and using her newfound strength and the years of unwanted but shockingly useful martial arts lessons her uncle gave her to teach the robber a lesson. This act of bravery was noticed by the Glittering Guardians, who then tasked Citra with protecting her world from the Wraiths’ evil… that being said however, the Wraiths had labeled Earth and all planets as “A Deathworld already engulfed in its own despair”, so they focus their efforts on other sections of the Milky Way.

So, with cool superpowers, no idea what the heck a “Wraith” is supposed to look like, and a butt-ton of crime in her home city, Lime considered the best course of action to use her Rebel-Crystal’s powers to protect humanity from itself… since whatever force she was actually supposed to ward off wants nothing to do with it at the moment…

As to how and why she's found herself in the UFL... well, she heard about it after beating down a particularly enthusiastic opponent who boasted about joining it after beating her... a dream he'll have a hard time achieving after getting sent to prison not long after their encountering. Curious, and knowing she wasn't the only Glittering Guardian keeping her city safe, she figured that keeping an eye on the league from the inside could be a fun way to improve her skills AND handle potential threats before they ever get to her city.
