Avatar and Logged-in Status

Someone else already reported issues with avatar uploads, but they somehow managed to fix it on their end.

What file format are you uploading? Can you try re-saving it as a jpg or png with a reasonable size (512x512 for example) and uploading again?

The indicator issue is a weird one. Maybe you still have a tab of UFL open somewhere?

Tried a fair few file formats, jpg, png and even webp, with five sizes ranging from 124x124 to 512x512, not quite sure what's going on with it but not too bothered. A friend did have the issue but he's unsure how he fixed it, it simply worked. Not that big of a problem.

Funnily enough, even tried the other avatar that works on my other character but still the same result.

Interestingly enough, in fights the avatar does show up.

Did a quick test. It seems it's the ' ' in my name. Made two new accounts:

And it seems that the special characters are what breaks this.

Thank you for tracking it down. I introduced profile slugs, so we can have the best of both world - allow any special characters in character names, but URLs will be converted to contain only url safe characters.

So your nickname remains: Eden 'Overdose' Stone

But the url is: https://ufl.undertow.club/c/eden-overdose-stone

The online status might also be fixed, but I'm not sure, because I can't recreate the issue to test it. Your avatar appears to show up though.

So I'll close this, but you can create a new issues for the online status if the bug persists.
