Balancing of the 4 new stats.

So I am reading the changelogs about the 4 new conditions you added recently.

So what I gather is that:
**Advantage =** The target with this tag on them rolls ONLY THIS ATTACK with 2d20s, taking the HIGHEST of the two rolls to hit.
**Disadvantage =** The target with this tag on them rolls ONLY THIS ATTACK with 2d20s, taking the LOWEST of the two rolls to hit.
- So far so good, this is in line with D&D mechanics.

**Vulnerable =** The target with this tag on has DISADVANTAGE on ALL ATTACKS they make.
**Shielded =** The target with this tag on has ADVANTAGE on ALL ATTACKS they make.
- This confuses me greatly.
For Vulnerable; it sounds like it should make damage the target takes, twice the usual amount.
For Shielded; grant an amount of Temporary HP that vanishes after the tag duration is up (But then what is the Max_HP tag for?)
Even more crucially - Why are the costs for Vulnerable/Shielded, the same as for the Advantage/disadvantage, when those depend on EVERY attack isntead of just the single move they are on? The cost should be at least twice that amount.

No, Advantage, Disadvantage, Vulnerable and Shielded work on all attacks made by\against a character. At least that's how it should be unless I f-ed up the logic somewhere. And it is only applied to the "ATTACK" roll, AKA the "SUCCESS".

Every attack you make does 2 rolls:

1. Determines HIT or MISS. It's a 1d20 roll + your hit bonus against target's AC (with all their bonuses).
2. The damage die if specified

So advantage\disadvantage only affects the HIT or MISS roll.

And it works like this:

- Advantage - the character with this condition has advantage on all their attack rolls (increased chance to hit)
- Disadvantage - the character with this condition has disadvantage on all their attack rolls (lowered chance to hit)
- Vulnerable - all attack rolls against this character are made with advantage (anyone attacking them has increased chance to hit this character)
- Shielded - all attack rolls against this character are made with disadvantage (anyone attacking them has lowered chance to hit this character)

Maybe the terms are not ideal and I'm happy to hear the suggestions. And in terms of a 1v1 match mechanically advantage\disadvantage and vulnerable\shielded can be interchangeable. So effectively having "Advantage" on Player A is the same as having "Vulnerable" on Player B. Both will result in the same 2d20 HIT roll against Player B.

But where it matters is with meta gaming (does this move make Player A stronger or does it make Player B weaker?) and also it will matter in fights with more than 2 players (you can weaken Player B and then **everyone else** can hit them with advantage).

Okay I understand them now, but it wasn't very clear when I first went over them, and now it turns out to be a "If you're in the know, you're above the rest" situation.
