1. User's Acknowledgment and Acceptance of Terms
UFL 2.0 ("Us", "We", "Our") provides this website and its related services (collectively, the "Service") to you, the user, subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement (the "Terms of Service"). By accessing or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
BY USING THIS SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, PLEASE EXIT THE SERVICE IMMEDIATELY. YOUR REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICE.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review these Terms of Service periodically to become aware of any modifications. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications indicates your acceptance of those modifications.
2. Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use or access the Service at any time or in any manner.
3. Registration Data and Privacy
In order to access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register and provide certain information ("Registration Data"). You agree that all information provided in the Registration Data is true, accurate, and complete, and you will maintain and update this information as required to keep it current, complete, and accurate.

4. User Content and Conduct
4.1 User Content
"User Content" means any content that users submit, upload, or otherwise make available to the Service, including but not limited to images, text, and other materials.
4.2 Content Restrictions and Roleplaying
4.2.1 Fictional Roleplaying Content
We acknowledge that as a roleplaying website, User Content may include fictional scenarios that contain elements which could be considered violent, threatening, abusive, or otherwise problematic if directed at real individuals. Such content is permitted only when:
a) It is clearly fictional and presented within the context of consensual roleplaying or storytelling;
b) It adheres to any additional content guidelines we may establish for specific areas of the Service;
c) It is appropriately labeled or posted in designated areas of the Service intended for such content.
4.2.2 Prohibited Content
Outside the context of clearly fictional roleplaying scenarios, you agree not to use the Service to submit, upload, or otherwise make available any User Content that:
a) Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise violates any laws;
b) Constitutes actual harassment, threats, or abuse directed at other users or real individuals;
c) Victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability;
d) Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary right of any party;
e) Contains software viruses, malware, spyware or any other malicious code;
f) Interferes with or disrupts the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service;
g) Violates any applicable law, regulation, or obligation or restriction imposed by a third party;
h) Contains non-fictional content depicting illegal activities or actual harm to real individuals.
4.2.3 Distinction Between Roleplay and Reality
Users must maintain a clear distinction between fictional roleplaying and actual behavior. Content that blurs this line or appears to be using roleplay as a pretext for actual harassment, threats, or illegal activity may result in:
a) Immediate removal of the content; b) Temporary or permanent suspension of your account; c) Blocking your access to the website and Service; d) Reporting to relevant authorities if applicable laws appear to have been violated.
We reserve the sole right to make determinations regarding violations of this distinction and to implement any of the above consequences at our discretion.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Content Definition
For purposes of these Terms of Service, "content" is defined as any information, data, communications, software, photos, images, videos, graphics, music, sounds, and other material and services that can be viewed by users on our Service. This includes message boards, chat, roleplay content, and other original content.
5.2 Ownership Rights
By accepting these Terms of Service, you acknowledge and agree that all content presented to you on this Service is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, or other proprietary rights and laws. You retain all ownership rights to your User Content, but you are required to grant certain rights to us as set forth below.
5.3 License Grant
By submitting, uploading, or otherwise making available any User Content on or through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable right to copy, distribute, display, perform, publish, translate, adapt, modify, and otherwise use such User Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license is required for us to display your content to other users and to operate the Service effectively.
Despite this license grant, you retain all of your ownership rights in your original content. This license exists only for as long as you elect to continue to include such User Content on the Service and terminates when you remove or we remove such User Content from the Service.
5.4 Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that: a) You own the User Content submitted by you or have the right to grant the license described above; b) The submission of your User Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, or any other rights of any person or entity.
5.5 Unauthorized Use of Materials
Any unauthorized use of the content appearing on this Service may violate copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws and could result in criminal or civil penalties. Neither we nor our affiliates warrant or represent that your use of materials displayed on, or obtained through, this Service will not infringe the rights of third parties.
5.6 Feedback
We appreciate hearing from our users and welcome your comments regarding the Service. Please be advised, however, that if you send to us any comments, suggestions, or recommendations regarding the Service ("Feedback"), you hereby assign to us all rights, title, and interest in and to the Feedback. Accordingly, your Feedback will not be subject to any obligation of confidentiality, and we will not be liable to you for any use or disclosure of any Feedback. Also, we will be entitled to unrestricted use of the Feedback for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to you or any other person.
6. Virtual Currency and Payments
6.1 Vouchers
"Vouchers" are a virtual currency used within the Service to access premium features such as AI-generated images (avatar generation and scene illustrations). Vouchers are displayed to users as a balance on their account and are stored internally as credits tied to a Patreon account.
6.2 Obtaining Vouchers
Vouchers are obtained through Patreon membership. When you link your Patreon account and maintain an active membership, Vouchers are granted monthly based on your membership tier. The number of Vouchers granted per tier is set by us and may change at our discretion.
Each Patreon account maintains a shared Voucher pool. If you link multiple character accounts to the same Patreon membership, all linked characters draw from the same Voucher balance.
6.3 Voucher Consumption
Vouchers are consumed at the point a generation request is submitted to our service. Each feature has a known Voucher cost displayed before confirmation:
a) Avatar generation: 1 Voucher per avatar state generated. The total cost is displayed on the generation button before you confirm.
b) Scene illustration (!illustrate command): 1 Voucher per illustration.
6.4 Non-Refundability
Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a Voucher is consumed, it cannot be refunded, credited back, or exchanged for real currency, other virtual currency, or any other consideration. This applies in all circumstances, including but not limited to:
a) The generated image does not meet your expectations or preferences;
b) The AI-generated content is later censored, filtered, or removed by the cloud provider after successful generation;
c) A generation partially succeeds but produces an unexpected or unsatisfactory result;
d) You decide to stop using the Service;
e) Your Patreon membership lapses or is cancelled.
6.5 Failed Generations
If a generation request fails before reaching the external image generation provider (for example, due to a validation error, insufficient source material, or an internal system error), your Voucher will not be deducted. The system performs pre-generation checks before committing your Voucher balance.
If a generation request is successfully submitted to the external provider but the result is lost, corrupted, or censored by the provider after generation has begun, the Voucher is still consumed. This is because the external provider charges us for the compute regardless of the output quality, and we pass this cost through as a consumed Voucher.
6.6 Chits (Gold)
"Chits" (displayed as Gold) are an in-game currency earned through gameplay activities such as winning fights and selling items. Chits have no real-world value and cannot be purchased, refunded, or exchanged for real currency. Certain Patreon membership tiers may grant bonus Chits monthly as a member benefit.
6.7 Patreon Integration
The Service integrates with Patreon Corporation ("Patreon") to provide membership-based benefits including Vouchers and bonus Chits. By linking your Patreon account, you acknowledge that:
a) Your Patreon membership status, account ID, and email are shared with us through Patreon's OAuth2 API;
b) Voucher grants and Chits bonuses are processed based on Patreon webhook events (membership creation, update, or deletion);
c) If your Patreon membership lapses, you enter a 3-day grace period during which your Voucher balance and benefits remain active. After the grace period, your Voucher balance is preserved but monthly grants cease;
d) We are not responsible for any delays, errors, or failures in Patreon's service that affect Voucher or Chit delivery;
e) Patreon's own terms of service apply to your Patreon membership independently of these Terms of Service.
6.8 Account Linking and Fraud Prevention
You may link up to 5 character accounts to a single Patreon membership. We may flag accounts linked from significantly different IP addresses for manual review. Abusing the linking system to obtain additional Vouchers or benefits beyond the intended scope may result in account suspension and forfeiture of Vouchers.
7. AI-Generated Content
7.1 Nature of AI Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence (including large language models and image generation models) to produce content such as narration text, scene descriptions, and images. AI-generated content is created algorithmically and may be unpredictable. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, appropriateness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
7.2 Ownership of AI Content
AI-generated content produced within the Service is provided for your entertainment within the context of the game. You may use such content for personal, non-commercial purposes. We retain the right to use, store, and display AI-generated content within the Service for the purpose of operating the game (such as displaying fight logs and published stories).
7.3 Content Moderation
We employ pre-generation moderation checks on image prompts before submission to external providers. However, we cannot guarantee that all generated content will be free from objectionable or unwanted material. If you encounter AI-generated content that you believe is inappropriate, please report it to our staff.
8. Third-Party Websites and Content
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
ALL MATERIALS AND SERVICES ON THIS SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR THE WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT (A) THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (B) THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (C) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICES OR MATERIALS WILL BE EFFECTIVE, ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, OR (D) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR INFORMATION PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU FROM THE SERVICE FROM US OR OUR AFFILIATES WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR BE FREE FROM MISTAKES, ERRORS OR DEFECTS.
THIS SERVICE COULD INCLUDE TECHNICAL OR OTHER MISTAKES, INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS. WE MAY MAKE CHANGES TO THE MATERIALS AND SERVICES AT THIS SITE, INCLUDING THE PRICES AND DESCRIPTIONS OF ANY PRODUCTS LISTED HEREIN, AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE. THE MATERIALS OR SERVICES AT THIS SITE MAY BE OUT OF DATE, AND WE MAKE NO COMMITMENT TO UPDATE SUCH MATERIALS OR SERVICES.
THE USE OF THE SERVICES OR THE DOWNLOADING OR OTHER ACQUISITION OF ANY MATERIALS THROUGH THIS SERVICE IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND WITH YOUR AGREEMENT THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM SUCH ACTIVITIES.

10. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE OR OUR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THOSE RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THIS SERVICE OR OF ANY WEBSITE REFERENCED OR LINKED TO FROM THIS SERVICE.
FURTHER, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY FOR THIRD PARTY CONTENT, GOODS AND SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH THIS SERVICE.
UFL 2.0 proprietors may not be held accountable for material or statements posted or made by site end users via the Service; such content is managed by the end user. UFL 2.0 staff will take reasonable action to moderate this content in accordance with the site's Terms of Service and applicable laws.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless us, our affiliates, licensors and service providers, and our and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of the Service, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of the Service's content, services and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms of Service or your use of any information obtained from the Service.
12. Account Security
If you create an account on the Service, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. We will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
All provisions of the Terms of Service which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for the resolution of any dispute arising from these Terms of Service or your use of the Service.
15. International Use
Although this Service may be accessible worldwide, we make no representation that materials on this Service are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the Netherlands, and accessing them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Those who choose to access this Service from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Any offer for any product, service, and/or information made in connection with this Service is void where prohibited.
16. General Terms
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements between you and us.
16.2 Waiver and Severability
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms of Service is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
16.3 Assignment
You may not assign your rights and obligations under these Terms of Service to any party, and any purported attempt to do so will be null and void. We may freely assign our rights and obligations under these Terms of Service.
16.4 Miscellaneous
In any action to enforce these Terms of Service, the prevailing party will be entitled to costs and attorneys' fees. Any cause of action brought by you against us or our Affiliates must be instituted within one year after the cause of action arises or be deemed forever waived and barred.
You agree not to sell, resell, reproduce, duplicate, copy or use for any commercial purposes any portion of this Service, or use of or access to this Service.
In addition to any excuse provided by applicable law, we shall be excused from liability for non-delivery or delay in delivery of products and services available through our site arising from any event beyond our reasonable control, whether or not foreseeable by either party, including but not limited to, labor disturbance, war, fire, accident, adverse weather, inability to secure transportation, governmental act or regulation, and other causes or events beyond our reasonable control, whether or not similar to those which are enumerated above.
